The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched the innovative training programme, the “Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship,” aimed at qualifying and empowering 25 young Emirati men and women, particularly from the Emirate of Fujairah, with the knowledge and skills required to enter the world of entrepreneurship and establish competitive and sustainable businesses.

The programme is organised with the support and strategic partnership of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and “Majra” – the Fujairah Sustainable Impact Committee, affiliated with the National Fund for Corporate Social Responsibility, in cooperation with Higher Innovation Academy. The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship and enhance the contribution of young national talents to the local economy and sustainable development pathways.

The programme aims to strengthen participants’ capabilities and transform their innovative ideas into scalable and sustainable business ventures by equipping them with the knowledge tools and practical skills needed to understand market requirements and manage businesses efficiently. This supports the UAE’s development priorities and contributes to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Emirate of Fujairah.

H.E. Sultan Juma Al Hindasi, Director General of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed the Chamber’s commitment to empowering Emirati youth and opening new horizons for them to enter the world of entrepreneurship. He noted that investing in the capabilities of young people and equipping them with the necessary skills represents a key pillar in building a more resilient, competitive, and sustainable economy.

He said that the Chamber is working to provide an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and equip them with the knowledge and practical skills that help them address market challenges and transform their ideas into successful economic ventures. He also emphasised the importance of strengthening the presence of national talents in the entrepreneurship sector and supporting their contribution to the UAE’s economic development journey.

He further explained that upon fulfilling the programme requirements, participants will receive accredited certificates from Higher Innovation Academy and the Professional Development Institute in the United Kingdom, enhancing their professional skills and supporting their readiness to compete in the labour market and entrepreneurship sector.

The “Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship” features an intensive training and development journey combining interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, and practical applications, with the participation of specialists and experts in entrepreneurship. The programme focuses on transforming opportunities into viable business ideas, financial planning and cash-flow management, building brand identity, managing start-ups, marketing strategies, and product development.

The programme also covers the fundamentals and concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in the business environment, as well as the legal procedures and legislation related to establishing entrepreneurial ventures. In addition, it addresses the principles of effective management and human resources management, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the various stages of establishing, developing, managing, and sustaining a business.
